It all started with three good mares purchased from Texas :

 'Sheza Private Handy', by 'Private Blend' out of 'Poor Boys Jeree' by 'Handy's Poor Boy'.

 Tell Tail Skip'  by 'Starrific' out of 'Do Tell Tailwind' by 'Royal Tailwind'. ( d. Nov 2007 )

'Zan Parr Mariah'  by  'Zan Parr Bar' out of 'Seven S Mariah' by 'Port Command' 
On a trip to the 2003 NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma,  Sumac Farms staff purchased  lot 2008 in the "Breeders Showcase sale" - namely

 "Laceups"  a 1994 Palomino mare by "Hollywood Dunnit" out of "Lacey Jay Dalton" by "Boss' Nowata Star", who was bred in foal to "Smart Like Juice".
" Queen of the Jac" ( aka "Poutine" ) was purchased from Quebec in June 2008. She is by "Hollywood Brandy Jac" (by "Hollywood JAC 86") out of "Jae Bar Rosalie".

She was bought in foal to
"Einsteins Revolution" and she was delivered from Quebec to a show we attended in New Brunswick and so, for fun, was shown, there and then, by Sumac Farms in the Ladies Reining class.    She Won!!
A second mare was purchased in Oklahoma "The Golden Surprise"  a 1997 palomino mare by "Surprise Enterprise" out of  "Topsails Charmer" by "Topsail Cody."
