Sumac Farms is located fifteen minutes from the Trans-Canada Highway and New Glasgow, in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. The facilities comprise approximately 460 acres of private woodlands, and it is 2 kilometres from the beach.
A new facility was constructed in 2002 which was designed to our specifications, and built to the very highest standards.
For horse accommodation, there are fifteen luxurious 12 ft. x14 ft. rubber floored, heated stalls, including a wash stall. Adjoining this barn is a 200x66ft heated indoor sand arena with viewing lounge.
In addition, there is an outdoor arena of similar size. The buildings are surrounded by six large grass paddocks, with post and rail fencing and safe automatic water bowls.
